Get to know me

Amanda Kassian serves as the Founder and Executive Director of Seen Ministry in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. 

She has organized and led Bible Studies in the home, church, and parachurch contexts. Her passion is for women to know the Word and for the Word to set them free. When she is not writing, speaking, or leading Bible studies, Amanda enjoys coffee, visiting with close girlfriends, and a good pizza!

Why I love teaching

My journey into Bible teaching began with a simple “yes.” I never dreamed of microphones or stages, but I’ve always had a heart to encourage others through Scripture. As God opened doors, I discovered the beauty of sharing from my own brokenness—paired with His unshakable truth.

For over 20 years, I’ve led women’s groups (both large and small) with a passion to help women live from the sustenance of God’s Word. Seen Ministry was born in my living room, and when it could no longer hold the women coming, we moved to larger spaces. Out of those faithful, unseen beginnings, my deepest desire has been to help women know God’s Word and live in the freedom found in Christ.

Teaching God’s Word is never about performance. It’s about ushering in God’s presence, healing, and transformation in the lives of the women I have the privilege to serve.

Seen Ministry

What began in Amanda’s living room—leading women’s Bible studies for years—quickly revealed a deep hunger among women to know God’s Word on a deeper level.

Recognizing this need, Amanda gathered a team and launched Seen Ministry to host large gatherings that provide biblical teaching for women in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

Our ministry name serves as a reminder to Christ-followers that we serve a God who sees all things and knows all things—nothing is hidden from His sight. Additionally, we encourage women to see God: to know Him fully, to be transformed by the renewal of our minds, and to continue walking in faithful obedience, confident that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by Him.
